Sarai Rivera.

Sarai Rivera grew up in California and started writing songs at age 12. A year later, alone at the piano in her room, she had the encounter with Christ she points to as the start of everything: worship first, then the stage. That season produced "Llévame allá," the song she wrote at 15 and recorded with her church's praise team; the video, uploaded to her channel in 2018, now has more than 6.3 million views.

Her public career took off in December 2018 with "Vuélvete y Anda," her first single, and took shape in 2021 with Heaven Music: "Por Mí," "Hoy," "Junto a Ti," and "Muéstrame," the last one with producer Sergio George. Her breakthrough came with "Suelto" (2022), whose official music video has more than 227 million views on YouTube and remains her calling card.

Then came "Sé Fuerte" (2023), her first studio album, and "Sarai (Live Set)" (2024), recorded live with Miel San Marcos, Un Corazón, Oasis Ministry, and Grupo Grace. In 2025 she released "Inquebrantable," the album that earned her first Latin Grammy nomination for Best Christian Music Album (Spanish Language), and in 2026 came "BE STRONG," with English versions of her songs.

The GMA Dove Awards have nominated her since 2023 in the Spanish-language music categories, four consecutive years. She has recorded with Tauren Wells, Marcos Witt, Marco Barrientos, and Danny Gokey, and this fall she goes on tour with Air1 Worship Now.

Her sound is congregational worship with intimate lyrics: letting go of control, keeping on walking, trusting when you don't understand the plan. With more than a million YouTube subscribers, she is one of the Hispanic voices most heard in worship today. If you don't know her, start with "Suelto." And which of her songs has carried you through a hard season?
