Biography.

Queens, New York, 1974. At age three, Ingrid Rosario moved to Los Angeles with her mother, after her father left the home, and grew up on the east side of the city, in a low-income home. When she was about to turn thirteen, the two of them moved to Miami. Along that journey her mother met the Lord, and faith became the pillar of the home; at fifteen, Ingrid began serving in the church and discovered the voice that today rings out in churches on two continents.

Her public career began in 1997, in her senior year at Liberty University, when she was invited to record on Ron Kenoly's "Majesty," for Integrity Music. Out of that came tours with Women of Faith and as a soloist for Benny Hinn's ministry across Ecuador, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, Chile, and Panama. In 1999 she recorded "Canta al Señor," one of the first Spanish worship albums recorded by a woman, and in 2001 came "Fe."

Then came "All I Desire" (2007), her first English-language album, "Mi Salvación" (2007), the live "Cuán Gran Amor," and "Pasión" (2013). Three of her projects were nominated for the GMA Dove Awards; "Cuán Gran Amor" competed at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards as best Spanish-language Christian album; the Arpa Awards named her best female vocal album in 2011 for "Cuán Gran Amor" and again in 2021 for "Fiel Amor, Vol. 1." The AMCL, the Spanish-language Christian music awards, honored her as best live album: in 2010 for "Cuán Gran Amor" and in 2013 for "Pasión."

In September 2019 she recorded live at Evangel Church in Queens more than 25 songs that became "Fiel Amor, Vol. 1" (2020) and "Fiel Amor, Vol. 2" (2024), a look back at her career with new songs. In 2023 she added a Dove Award: "Coritos (En Vivo)," by Miel San Marcos and Daniel Calveti with Marcos Witt, won Spanish-language song of the year.

Today she serves as Spanish worship director at Lakewood Church, in Houston, and walks alongside worship leaders through VOCES, her training program. Songs like "El Poder de Tu Amor" and "Soy Amante de Tu Presencia" are sung just as much in Houston as in Bogotá or San Juan. Her bet was never the stage: it was teaching the church to sing.
