Biography.

Un Corazón was born in 2012 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, within the Comunidad Olivo church, and today it is one of the most-listened-to worship projects in Spanish: more than three million monthly listeners on Spotify and songs that are still sung in churches across the continent. The group presents itself as “a movement of music, creativity, and worship” where Jesus comes first, and it is led by Kim Richards, joined by Louie Abrego and Raúl “Ruli” Hiram.

The first album, “Un Corazón,” is from 2012. Then came “Darte Honor” (2013), “Jesús Salva” (2014), “Espejos” (2015), and the EP “Música en el Desierto” (2016). With “Somos Iglesia” (2017) they released “Jesucristo Basta,” the song that opened the doors of Latin America to them and that remains among their most-played: it has passed 120 million streams on Spotify alone.

From there, the pace never let up: “Hola, Futuro” (2018), with “Salmo 23” among the most-played tracks; “Sinergia” (2020), a joint album with the Guatemalan band Lead; “Cielo En La Tierra” (2020); “Todos A La Mesa” (2021) and its live version; and “X SIEMPRE” (2022), where they re-recorded their own songs alongside voices that have accompanied them, such as Miel San Marcos, Marcos Witt, and Alex Campos.

In 2024 they released “KINTSUGI,” fourteen songs recorded live that, in the group’s words, seek to “connect your heart with heaven.” The album earned them the 2024 Latin Grammy for Best Christian Album in Spanish, and in 2025 they recorded at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, a concert that became a live album. Before that, the Premios Arpa had nominated “X SIEMPRE” in five categories (2023) and “Kintsugi” as Live Album (2024).

Their sound ranges from congregational singing to pop, with nods to urban — “Fiesta,” with Alex Zurdo — and to regional Mexican, as in “Regrésanos (Versión Regional).” From “1000 Pedazos” to “Socorro,” their lyrics keep returning to the same thing: the brokenness God repairs and a church that sings together. They keep releasing music: they wrote “Ojos de Amor” (2026) together with ECCOS.
