TWICE.

TWICE is a Peruvian Christian pop duo formed by Israel Risco and Ale Berrios, a married couple who decided to tell their faith in Spanish. The project was born in 2013 with a name full of meaning: for them, TWICE means second chances, because they believe in a God who never gives up on anyone.

Before signing their own songs, their voice became known for translating into Spanish hymns the church already sang in English. "Amor Sin Condición," their version of "Reckless Love," has more than 134 million views on YouTube in its lyric video — the most-watched video on the channel — while the official video is around 9 million; "Tú dices," the translation of "You Say" with Valeria Farías, passes 43 million. That has been their mark: singable lyrics, simple arrangements, and a message that reaches the heart.

Their recording career began in 2015 with their first singles and took shape with the "Sesión Orgánica" series (2016-2017), "En Cada Latido" (2017), and "Identidad" (2018). Then came "Desde Casa" (2020), "QNSATL" (2021) — the initials of "Que No Se Apague Tu Luz" — "Aquí En Tu Presencia" (2023), and the EP "Gracias A La Cruz" (2024), which came with a devotional plan on Bible.

In 2022, "Color de Alegría," recorded with Andy Alemany and Samuel ASH, was nominated for the GMA Dove Awards in the Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year category. Since then they haven't stopped: "Dios Peleará Por Ti," "Un Día Más," and "La Navidad Comenzó" in 2025, and "Compañera" in 2026.

What sets TWICE apart isn't a grand sound but the simplicity with which they speak of hope and vulnerability, without promising a problem-free life. If you want a place to start, listen to "Aquí En Tu Presencia" and then "Compañera." And tell us: which of their songs has reminded you that God never gets tired of giving you another chance?
