Rosa Virginia.

Rosa Virginia grew up in Maracaibo, Venezuela, in a home where music was a family affair: at age three she entered the music kindergarten of the José Luis Paz Conservatory, at five she was already studying violin, and later she played in the Zulia children's and youth orchestras and at the Latin American Violin Academy. She graduated with a degree in music, her voice shaped among church choirs, rehearsals, and music stands.

At fifteen, she says, she gave her life to Christ, and that reordered her path: she understood she wanted to sing for God. In her Maracaibo church she serves as vocal leader of the worship group «Puerta del Cielo» and taught music to the congregation's children. Her desire, together with her husband, is that whoever hears her would hear the Word, and that Christ would grow in whoever sings.

Her first single, En Presencia de Mi Rey, she recorded with Jacobo Ramos, and that same 2018 the album En Tus Manos came out, both with her label Anointing Productions. Then came the Christmas single El Mejor Regalo (2018), Un Llamado (2019), and the EP Los Cielos Se Abren (2021), six songs including her version of «Cuán Grande Es Él».

2024 was her busiest year: the live EP En Vivo, five songs recorded live, featuring producer Rafael Chirinos on «Santo Y Digno», and the acoustic series Oasis En El Desierto, volumes 1 and 2, with versions of Un Corazón, Montesanto, Majo y Dan and Sarai Rivera, and of the Bethel Music song «La Bondad de Dios». En Vivo was nominated for a Premio Arpa in the Female Vocal Album category.

Hers is worship with classical roots: an orchestra-trained ear, violin, and a voice you understand from the very first verse. For her, praise is response, not spectacle, and worshiping in spirit and in truth remains the goal.
