Niko Eme.

Behind Niko Eme is Héctor A. Calvo, a Dominican born in Samaná who grew up between Spain and the United States and is today one of the most listened-to voices of Spanish-language Christian reggaeton: more than 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 80,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

He started in the industry as an urban music producer, working with artists in the genre. His first album of his own arrived in 2015: El Instrumento. Three years later, Suficiente marked the turning point with "El Que Reina," the track that put him on the map of urban Christian music and has already surpassed seven million streams on Spotify.

Since then he has not stopped: El After Party (2020), Tntdímelo (2021), Temporadas (2022), and Buzón de Voz (2023) built a catalog where reggaeton, trap, and worship fit on the same record. In 2024 he released two projects, Un Corito Sano and Worship Urbano; in 2025 the joint album Spanglish with Shepherd; and in 2026 Reggaeton Cristiano with Diamnd El Científico.

In 2024 his name reached the Dove Awards: "Danza," the track he recorded with KB and Cardec Drums, was nominated for Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year. His list of collaborations speaks of a scene that moves together: Alex Zurdo, Funky, Manny Montes, Lizzy Parra, Omy Alka, Ander Bock, Jay Kalyl, Danny Gokey, and Limoblaze, among others.

What defines his music is the point of view: faith-filled lyrics told from real life — work, the street, family, the desire to start over — without turning every song into a sermon. If it is your first time hearing him, start with "El Que Reina" and "Danza," then hit play on Reggaeton Cristiano (2026).
