Nancy Amancio.

Some songs are sung sitting down, and others standing up, in the middle of the storm. "Arrebato", "El Proceso", and "Me Paro En La Brecha" are the second kind: they have been heard in churches and playlists across Latin America for years. Behind them is Nancy Amancio, a Dominican singer and pastor and one of the most recognized female voices in Spanish-language Christian music.

Her recording career began in 1995 with "Mis Sueños". Then came "Amándome Así" (1997), "A quien iré" (2000), "Un Toque de Fé" (2004), and "Impactando Las Naciones" (2007). In 2009 she released "Estableciendo el Reino", the album that introduced "Arrebato", and in 2012 she followed with "Otro Nivel De Guerra", which features "Como Una Guerrera".

In 2016, "Me Paro En La Brecha" brought together two of her most listened-to songs, "El Proceso" and "Corazón De Guerrera", and in 2022 came "ROMPE EL CIELO" with "Sumérgeme En Tu Río", "Tocar Tu Trono", and "Aleluya". Her most recent release is the EP "Vida de Fe", out in September 2026 with five new songs.

In 2024 she won the Arpa Award for Song of the Year for "Eres Todo", recorded live with Kairo Worship. That year she also released "Poderoso", and in 2025 came "Omnipotente", "Alfa y Omega" with Lizzy Parra, and "Trae El Cielo Aquí", with Ismael Telfort.

She was born in the Dominican Republic, serves as a pastor, and her schedule has taken her to more than 35 countries; in 2021 she published the book "Párate en la brecha: hacia el destino profético". Her songs speak of persevering, praying, and trusting God when the outlook has not yet improved: a message that resonates deeply with a generation living between two cultures and unwilling to let go of its faith.
