Menesesynths.

Menesesynths is the project of Daniel Meneses, a Mexican producer and artist born in Veracruz in 1998 and raised in Villahermosa, Tabasco. His music doesn't sound like most: synthesizers, synthpop, and chillwave put at the service of a message of hope aimed at a young audience.

His first steps weren't on a stage but at the MCI LIDS church in Villahermosa, where he began studying music and understood this was his thing. At 19 he moved to Mexico City to study music production at Academia Fermatta, and there he became the producer who today writes, mixes, and produces, as well as sings.

His catalog began in 2019 with “Ahava” and continued with “Mira” (feat. Daniel Hergo), “Tarde en Madrid”, “Nadie Más”, “A Tí” (feat. Pame López), “Nueve de Julio (T.V.E.M.C.F)”, and “Galaxias”. In 2023 came “Tu Canción” with Banda Horizonte, the track that earned him the Arpa Award for Best Alternative Music Track of that year, and in November he closed the cycle with the EP “Entre Luces y Ruidos”, six songs that sum up his sonic search.

What sets Menesesynths apart is the bridge: songs of faith with an electronic texture, carefully crafted one by one, that work just as well in a worship service as in your headphones on the way to school or work. His YouTube channel gathers official videos and acoustic versions of songs by Elevation and Passion, signs of a craft understood as service rather than a showcase.

For anyone producing from their bedroom, the question remains open: how much of what you do is a calling and how much is a showcase? His entire discography is available on streaming platforms.
