Lucía Parker.

Lucía Parker was born in El Salvador and grew up in a pastor's home; from a young age she led worship at her church. In 2003 she released her first album, En Lo Secreto, and ever since she has held together two things that rarely go hand in hand: writing her own songs and serving the congregation.

Recognition came with Alabanza y Adoración: Del Corazón (2008), recorded with the label 3:16 Media. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2009 in the Spanish-language Christian music category and that same year won her two Arpa Awards: Best Female Vocal Album and Best Live Album.

She later moved to the United States and began recording in English as well. In 2014 she released Rey de Mi Universo, and at the 2015 Arpa Awards «Rey Vencedor», her song with Redimi2, won Best Music Video; that same edition nominated her collaboration «Cielos de Color», with Israel Houghton and Redimi2, as Best Featured Song.

In 2017 came Revive, an album of ten original worship songs recorded in English and Spanish with Bridge Music and distributed by Provident Music Group.

She is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and the pace never slows: «Dios de Milagros» (2019), «Quiero Agradecerte Dios» (2024), and «Viviendo en la bondad» (2025, with BJ Putnam). In 2025, «Coritos de Fuego», on which she appears alongside Israel & New Breed and Unified Sound, won the Dove Award for Spanish-Language Recorded Song of the Year. Worship the church can sing, in two languages and with Latin roots.
