Kike Pavón.

Kike Pavón was born in Burgos in 1986 and grew up in Madrid, the city where he lives. He started at age 14 playing piano in his church's worship team, trained at the Centro Internacional de Liderazgo (CIL), and went on to play with Miguel Cassina's band. His first album, "Cielo sobre tierra," was released in 2010.

His career took off in 2012 with "Diseño Original," the album that includes "Empezar de Nuevo" with Funky, now his most-streamed song on Spotify, with more than 56 million streams. Since then his record label has been Heaven Music, and his catalog grew song by song.

In 2017 came "Ganas de Vivir"; in 2019, "Ayer y Hoy," a tribute to the '90s sounds he grew up with, and a new version of "Paz en la tormenta" with Renán Carías, one of those classics Hispanic churches sing without looking at the lyrics. That same year his collaboration with DeLuz on "Respirar" was among the nominations for the 15th edition of the Premios Arpa. In 2020 the EP "Punto y Aparte" added urban flavor, and in 2022 "Tierra Prometida" opened a new phase that led to "Causas Perdidas" (2023) and the EP "De Donde Vengo" (2025).

His most recent release is "Reverdece," published on June 5, 2026, with nine songs, including "Sin plan B," "Ayúdame a creer," and "Segundas partes" with Gilberto Daza. His lyrics don't shy away from doubt: faith appears as a trust that is decided each day, not as a certainty that is presumed.

His YouTube channel sums it up in three words: "Soli Deo Gloria." With nearly 900,000 subscribers and more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify, he is one of the defining voices of Christian pop in Spanish. If you want a place to start, "Reverdece" and "Todavía Me Alegraré" are a good entry point: which of his songs has walked with you through a hard year?
