Joel Rocco.

Joel Rocco was born in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, and grew up singing at his neighborhood church. He started at 16 on the worship team, and in 2018 he launched his public music career with songs meant for anyone to sing: simple melodies, direct lyrics, and no showing off.

During his early years he released songs on his own, with “Rey por siempre” (2019) as his first single. In 2023 his participation in Noches de Adoración expanded his ministry beyond Argentina and put him on the radar of worship leaders in other countries. That led to his arrival at the Heaven Music label and, in May 2025, his first release with the label: “Poderte Conocer,” alongside singer Enoc Parra.

The big step came in October 2025 with “Solo Hay Uno,” also with Enoc Parra. The song earned him his 2026 Dove Award nomination in the Spanish Language Worship Recorded Song of the Year category, where he competes against TOMATULUGAR and Marcos Brunet, Cales Louima and Christine D'Clario, Su Presencia, and Averly Morillo. He shares credit with Parra and with co-writers Andreu Pradas and Marcos Salice.

In early 2026 came “Fuego en el altar (En vivo desde Murcia),” a three-song EP recorded live in Spain with Enoc Parra and the ECCOS collective. That same year he released “Alabaré” with ECCOS, “Todo (en vivo)” with Factor de Cambio, an acoustic session of “Solo Hay Uno,” another version with Marcos Brunet, and “¿De Qué Me Sirven?,” which asks what talent and gifts are good for if you don't multiply them.

His music lives in contemporary worship with pop textures and piano-and-vocal passages, and his theme is constant: intimacy with God, vulnerability, and service. His YouTube channel tops 41,000 subscribers and 20 million views, and on Spotify he passes 700,000 monthly listeners. His bet is the opposite of the spotlight: a faith sung quietly and a gift placed at the service of the church.
