Isaac Palencia.

Isaac Palencia is a Colombian worship singer-songwriter based in Sincelejo, Sucre. His music starts from a simple place: acoustic guitar, voice, and lyrics about seeking God in secret. He presents himself as a songwriter, and his name has spent years behind music projects and stages shared with Spanish-language gospel voices.

His public catalog starts in May 2020 with «Jesús», the single that launched his steady stream of releases. In March 2022 his team at Sense Music took him to open two dates of Jesús Adrián Romero's «Tour de la Esperanza»: the Movistar Arena in Bogotá and the La Macarena bullring in Medellín. That same year came «Eres», recorded in Medellín, «Jesús (versión acústica)», «No puedo parar» and «Alma mía».

The big step was «Más Pasión» (2023), his first album: twelve songs ranging from Latin pop to worship, with «A Ti», «Tu Presencia» and «Mi Aire» as its anchors. The following year, the album was nominated at the 19th edition of the Premios Arpa (2024) for its cover design.

What sets his approach apart is how he turns faith into concrete songs: «Agonizando por ti» comes from Psalm 84, that idea of counting the minutes until you stand before the altar again. It is music meant to be sung in the congregation, but also in the car or in your room, when you want to say something to God and can't find the words.

In 2026 he keeps recording live: the «Más Pasión Live Session» sessions, with «Mi Aire» and «Jesús», were recorded in the auditorium of Centro Cristiano Misión Global in Sincelejo, Colombia. A short, coherent catalog, with the church as its natural audience and a clear direction: worship sung in Spanish, without depending on applause.
