ECCOS.

ECCOS is the project of Steven and Lluvia Richards, the Ciudad Juárez duo that founded Un Corazón in 2012 and now writes worship songs meant to be sung in the local church. After more than a decade composing and producing for other artists and worship teams across Latin America, they opened their own space with “Cicatrices” (July 2023), an acoustic single about the wounds Christ makes his own.

Their first album arrived in August 2024, also titled “Cicatrices”: twelve contemplative, direct songs. In November of that year came “Santo Por Siempre,” now their most-played song, with more than 30 million streams on Spotify, and the gateway to the project for many people who have sung it in worship.

Recognition came in 2025: a Dove Award nomination in the Recorded Worship Song in Spanish category for “La Gloria de Dios,” which the duo wrote. That year they also appeared with Marcos Witt on “Tu Mirada / Hermoso Eres,” from the album Legado, and recorded the EP “Fuego en el altar” live in Murcia, Spain.

ECCLESIA (August 2026) is their biggest project: 18 songs about the church and its song, with Enoc Parra, Joel Rocco, Lowsan Melgar, Factor de Cambio, Un Corazón and TAYA, plus the collaboration with Tauren Wells on “Cantaremos (Que Cante La Iglesia).” The sound ranges from indie and acoustic to alternative pop; the center remains the cross, grace and a community that sings. It isn't novelty they're after, but service: songs any congregation can pick up on a Sunday. If your worship team is looking for repertoire, here's a place to start.
