Debbie Navedo sings worship in Spanish, even though Spanish wasn't the language she grew up speaking. She was born in Hialeah, Florida, into a Puerto Rican family, was raised in Texas, and is now based in Spring, the city where the label 418 Records signed her as its first artist.

Music reached her through the radio at home: by age three she was already singing whatever was playing, and at twelve she walked into a Hispanic Christian church for the first time. She understood almost nothing of what they said, but the praise reached her all the same. She would go home to look up every song, translate the lyrics so she could sing them, and she ended up on that church's worship team. From then on she was certain: her voice was going to sound in Spanish even though Spanish wasn't her mother tongue.

Her public career began with «Corro a Ti» (2021). She wrote the song as a personal declaration, without planning to share it; it reached producer Chris Rocha and they recorded it in Spanish. A month later, Rocha invited her to launch his new label, 418 Records, and «Corro a Ti» became her signed debut. The song was nominated for Release of the Year at the 2022 Arpa Awards, at the edition held in Mexico City.

Since then, her catalog has been built on singles: «El Nombre de Jesús» (2021), «Gigantes» with Lucía Parker (2022), the cover «El Gran Nombre del Señor» (2023), «No Hay Nada» (2024) with Chris Rocha and Líricas Celestiales —where her voice crosses paths with rap— and «Yo Confío en Él» (2025), her most recent release. In between came acoustic versions of her own songs.

Her sound moves between church worship and Latin pop, with songs she writes first in English and then translates into Spanish so the Hispanic church can sing them. Her goal is for more people to know God's love, in whatever language it may be. Language, in the end, isn't the barrier many believe it is; for her it was the door she walked through.
