Dariana.

Dariana is a Christian singer and songwriter from Montreal, Canada, the daughter of Venezuelan parents. She started out posting videos singing in Spanish in a city where French is what fills the air, and today she is one of the young voices of Christian music in Spanish: her catalog has opened up collaborations with Marcos Witt, Funky, Alex Zurdo, and Indiomar.

The music came before the platforms: as a girl she filled school notebooks with rhymes and verses, and although she developed her talent on her own, it was in her local congregation where she and her family understood there was a calling there. At 17 she began to see in music and art something more than a hobby, and her first steps were homemade: she recorded melodies on her phone, in the school bathroom.

Her recording debut came in 2021 with "Grito", an album recorded with the band Lead and released by CanZion. Then followed "365", "Memorias (El Olam)", and "Avivamiento" (2023), the EP "OLAM" with its acoustic version (2024), "TALITA" (2024), and the singles "Rosa Blanca", "Relicario", and "Nube" (2025), which brought her listeners outside Canada. In 2026 she released "Tetengo".

In 2022 the cover design for "Grito" competed for an Arpa Award in the Best Cover Design category, and in 2025 her voice appeared on "El Culpable", by Funky and Alex Zurdo, and on "Escucharte Hablar / Dios Ha Sido Bueno", by Marcos Witt and Indiomar: songs that connected her with a much wider audience.

Her sound doesn't stay in a mold: it moves from pop to synth-pop, passes through contemporary regional, and flirts with urban rhythms, always with the lyrics up front. The core is the same as her first videos: speaking to her generation, the one searching for purpose amid a thousand distractions, and reminding them that nothing should take Christ's place. If you want to start listening to her, "Nube" and "TALITA" are a good entry point; if you sing in your church, "Metanoia" and "Avivamiento" will serve you well. Which one do you choose?
