Christian Sebastia.

Christian Sebastia was born in Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, and grew up surrounded by church songs. He started playing instruments as a child and by 1986 he was already on stage performing what he composed: that is the start of a career that spans four decades and is still going strong.

In Venezuela he became one of the leading voices of contemporary Christian music. «En Ti» (2005), his first album, put him on the map beyond his country; «Tu Amor» (2008) was recorded live with guests like Marcos Witt, and «Tengo Fe» (2018) brought together Ilan Chester, Mariaca Semprún, Luis Fernando Borjas of Guaco, Gabriela Cartulano and Clayton Uehara across eleven songs. That production earned him the Premio Arpa as Producer of the Year in 2019.

His most recent album is «Tu Corazón» (2024), a thirteen-song album that closes with a new version of «Tu Amor», and in May 2025 he released the single «Estoy por Caer». Besides singing, he produces: he directs recordings, concerts and tours, and supports the development of other artists and their technical teams.

His music lives between congregational worship and Latin pop, with arrangements that reveal his taste for jazz and Venezuelan music. He writes with the church in mind: songs a congregation can sing and that still say something years later. Today he is based in Texas and combines studio work with pastoral ministry and leadership training.
