Arthur Callazans.

Arthur Callazans is a Brazilian singer and songwriter who sings worship in Spanish and Portuguese. He was born in Minas Gerais and now divides his life between the United States and Brazil, with one foot in the Hispanic church and the other in the Brazilian church.

He started in worship ministry at fifteen and was a youth leader before devoting himself to music. His first single, “Hermoso Nombre,” came out in May 2019 with Aline Barros; in 2020 came the EP “Atmósfera,” which opened the Hispanic market to him, with Ingrid Rosario, Fernanda Brum, and André e Felipe as guests.

That EP earned him a 2020 Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Christian Album in Spanish category, an unusual spot for a Brazilian artist who sings in Spanish. Shortly after, he signed with the label MK Music and released the EP “Não Pararemos” (2022) and the live album “Vou Te Alegrar” (2022), this time in his own language.

In 2023 he recorded “Evangelho” live and released it song by song, with Bruna Karla, Midian Lima, Marcelo Markes, and Brunno Ramos among the guests, until closing out the album in 2024. That same year he returned to Spanish with the EP “Vivirán / Ezequiel / Yo Navegaré,” alongside Midian Lima and Misael J. In 2025 he sang with Miel San Marcos and with Gateway Worship Español, and in May 2026 he released “Juan 20 + Por Siempre.”

His repertoire keeps coming back to an idea that never goes out of date: worship does not depend on everything going well. It is there in “Job,” the song he sings with Midian Lima about worshiping when there are no reasons left, and in the ease with which he mixes two languages in a single concert. Besides music, he pastors and leads the Avívanos conference.
