Amor Mercy.

Amor Mercy is the band of Julián and Becky Collazos, a married couple based in Dallas, Texas. Julián was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, and Becky was born in Tampa and raised in Guatemala. Both are pastors' kids and grew up serving in their churches' worship: he as a musician from age ten, she singing in the choir from age thirteen.

They met in Texas in 2004 and married in 2008. Before forming their own band, Julián spent a decade as Marco Barrientos's music director, producer, and songwriter, with more than ten recordings to his credit; Becky sang on four of those albums and recorded a duet with him. Together they served as worship pastors at Centro Internacional Aliento, a church in Dallas.

In 2011 they founded AmorMercy and recorded their first album, «Desde Arriba Todo Se Ve Diferente». That album earned them a 2014 Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Christian Album (Spanish Language) category, a list they shared with Marcos Witt, Marcos Vidal, Coalo Zamorano, Nirlon Sánchez, Lenny Salcedo, and Danilo Montero, who took home the gramophone.

Then came their season with Gateway Worship Español: in 2018 they appear on the album «Más Grande (En Vivo)» and later on the collective's recordings, while Julián serves as associate worship pastor and Becky as worship leader. Their music blends congregational worship with pop and rock arrangements, direct lyrics, and one fixed idea: that the church sing.

In recent years the band has kept releasing music: «Sin Explicación» and «Se Trata de Tí» (2024), «Nunca Cambia» (2025), and, in 2026, «Siempre Lo Serás» with Raul Moreno and «YESHUA» with Samuel VPT. A short, steady catalog that keeps the couple at the forefront of Hispanic worship in the United States.
