Biography.

Pacto Perpetuo is a progressive rock and metal trio born in Buenos Aires in 2004, when the Ríspoli brothers — Jonatán on vocals and guitar, Pablo on bass, and Ezequiel on drums — began playing covers of Petra and of Argentine bands like Logos before daring to write their own material.

The name sums up their conviction: the covenant God made in his Son to give eternal life. They say it plainly in their channel description, and from there comes their way of working: music with influences from classical music, tango, folk, and rock in all its forms, put at the service of a message of faith, hope, and freedom for the new generations.

In 2021 they released “Apogeo,” their first official studio album: ten songs recorded and mastered at Romaphonic Studios in Buenos Aires, with music production by Jonatán Ríspoli, mixing by Javier Barreto, and mastering by Jero Olivera. The journey runs from the ballad “Ciclos” to “Escoge Libertad” and “Libre Elección,” with lyrics that invite listeners to lift their gaze beyond their circumstances.

Before “Apogeo” they were already known on the Argentine Christian rock scene for their live performances and their Petra covers. During the pandemic they recorded “Love,” a Petra cover featuring more than fifteen artists from eight countries, and in December 2022 they released the single “Gracia y Fe” together with Luis Barni, one of the figures they had admired from the start.

In 2023, “Apogeo” was nominated for the Premio Arpa in the Rock / Hard Rock Album category, alongside Año Cero and Jireh. The band keeps playing with the same motto from their beginnings: that music be the bridge for whoever listens to come to know a Creator with an eternal purpose.
