Marcos Brunet.

Marcos Brunet was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1984, into a family of pastors, and in 2004 moved to Argentina to train in music and ministry. There, while serving in a church in Buenos Aires, he recorded his first live album, Aguas Profundas (2007). Today he lives in Córdoba and leads TOMATULUGAR, a ministry that works at once as a local church, a house of prayer, and a leadership training center.

His music was born from that same place: songs to sing in congregation, with room for the spontaneous. It shows in the live recordings Uniendo Cielo y Tierra (2011) and Adora a Jesús (2015), and in the albums Diálogo íntimo (2012) and Diálogo íntimo 2 (2015), where intimate worship sits alongside the songs of the whole church. Then came Día y Noche (2021), Altar Familiar (2023), and Intimidad (2024), the last one with Abbie Gamboa.

In 2025 he released La Buena Parte (Ao Vivo) with fhop music and the EP FLUIR en casa with his team, and in 2026 the EP Anclado en la Roca. Songs like "Al que está sentado en el trono," "Es Él," and "Toda lengua y toda nación" rack up tens of millions of streams, and his Spotify profile tops 1.2 million monthly listeners. The nomination came too: "El celo de tu casa (En Vivo)," recorded with TOMATULUGAR, is up for a GMA Dove Award in 2026 as Spanish language worship song of the year.

Besides singing, he teaches. His podcast Tiempo de Mesa walks through the Bible in conversation, and with his team he trains those who lead worship in their churches. What sustains his work is not the stage but service: songs written for an entire church to sing, not to show off the one singing them. If you want somewhere to start, put on "El celo de tu casa" and ask yourself what place worship holds in your week.
