Kingsporch.

KingsPorch wasn't born in a studio or on a record label: it was born in the living rooms of Austin, Texas. It's a worship collective that gathers like the New Testament church, shares a meal, sings, and prays for every person who walks through the door. That's where their songs come from, and some are already sung in churches around the world.

The project was planted by Jesse and Janet Reeves, who had previously taken part in the planting of Austin Stone Church (2002) and Passion City Church (2008). Jesse spent 17 years playing bass and leading worship with Chris Tomlin, and as a songwriter he wrote songs that are sung every week, like "How Great Is Our God," "Our God," and "I Will Rise." With that history behind them, KingsPorch went back to the basics: Acts 2:42 as the model and the question of what the church was like in the beginning.

Their first EP, Songs for the Simple Gathering: Vol. 1 (2021), included "I Speak Jesus," which went from their living room to the worship charts of several countries. In 2022 came "Yo Declaro a Cristo," in Spanish and recorded with TWICE, and "This is Emmanuel." In 2023 they released the EP God is in This House, produced by Steve Fee and recorded with the fewest instruments possible, featuring "Faithful Still" and "Changes Everything"; in 2025 they returned with Songs For The Simple Gathering, Vol. 3, featuring "Psalm 23," "Amen (The Lord's Prayer)," and "One Thing."

In 2023, "Declaro a Cristo" was nominated at the Premios Arpa in the Best Song in Participation category, alongside TWICE.

What sets the collective apart is their intention: to record the songs the way they sound in the room, with few instruments, so a worship leader can take them to a home, a Bible study, or a large congregation. They aren't chasing the biggest sound; they want the lyrics to point to Christ.
