Jorge Jaenz.

Jorge Jaenz writes and sings so the church can sing. His name signs songs that have become part of the Spanish-language congregational repertoire — "Hazme Fiel," "La Casa del Herrero," "Jehová Gibbor" — and in 2024 his live album "Grandes Cosas" placed him among the nominees at the Christian music awards.

His own discography began in 2017 with the EP "La Casa del Herrero" and the single "Hosanna," recorded alongside Ebenezer San Francisco. In 2019 he released "Hazme Fiel" and wrote several songs on that group's album "Renacer (En Vivo)"; 2021 brought "Volveremos a Casa," with apostle Sergio Enríquez, and 2023 the singles "Paloma Blanca" and "El Corazón."

The high point of his catalog is "Grandes Cosas (En Vivo Desde Ebenezer Guatemala)" (2024), a twelve-track album recorded during the Proclama Profética of Ministerios Ebenezer in Guatemala City. Jaenz was executive producer and musical producer of the project, which includes "Glorifícate," "Tu cuidas de mí," and "Abba Padre." That work earned him a nomination for Independent Album at the Arpa Awards and for Live Album at the AMCL Awards, both in 2024.

His music is congregational worship, made to be sung live, with arrangements that keep the lyrics front and center. In recent years he recorded with Sendero de Esperanza — "Quién es como tú, oh Dios," in a general worship version and live from Florida — and runs a channel where he posts videos, tutorials for his songs, and audio tips for those who serve on the worship team.

In his songs the attention never stays on the performer: the subject is who God is. That is the thread running through a catalog that keeps growing and each year adds new collaborations and songs for the Hispanic church.
