Biography.

Aaron Moses is one of those names that keeps turning up in the fine print of Spanish-language worship, and now on the cover too: raised in New Jersey, the son of a Dominican mother and an Ecuadorian father, he was one of the Latin voices of Maverick City Music and today works alongside Israel & New Breed. If your church sings “I Thank God” or “Nadie Como Tú,” you've already heard him.

His first EP, “Here and Now,” arrived in 2020, the same year his name began appearing on Maverick City Music's albums: there he sang “Be Praised” and, alongside UPPERROOM, “I Thank God.”

In 2021 Maverick City opened its Spanish-language branch, Maverick City Música, and he was part of the group that launched it: “Como En El Cielo” (March of that year), “Venga Tu Reino” (October), and “Simple Adoración” (2022). Out of that catalog came “Nadie Como Tú,” which was number one for three straight weeks in 16 Latin American countries.

At the end of 2022 he left the group and continued as a solo artist and producer with TRUE Music and AMEN Music, with “Giving Again” (2023), written alongside Matt Redman. In 2025 came “Coritos, Vol. 1” with Israel & New Breed, the album that won the 2026 Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album and lists him in the credits as singer and producer. That same project earned him the 2025 Dove Award for “Coritos de Fuego,” and in 2026 he is nominated for a Dove Award for “DIGNO,” alongside Nate Diaz and Israel Houghton. This year he also appears on “Mil Gracias,” Aline Barros's new Spanish-language single.

His music is no-frills worship: lyrics of trust and surrender, choruses a congregation picks up fast, and a voice that prefers honesty over embellishment. If you want a place to start, “Nadie Como Tú” and “Coritos de Fuego” are a good entry point. Which of his songs does your church sing?
