Biography.

Tercer Cielo has spent more than two decades reaching places Christian music hadn't before. The duo was born in Santo Domingo in 2000, when Juan Carlos Rodríguez and Marcos Yaroide sang in churches and events across the Dominican capital. Their first song, "Ella y él," led to their debut album, En ti (2000), number one on the country's Christian radio.

Then came Tercer Cielo (2002) and Ahora Tengo Más (2004). In 2006 Yaroide left the project to pursue a solo career, and in 2007 Evelyn Herrera joined — a singer born in Arizona of Mexican descent and Rodríguez's wife. With her came Llueve (2007) and the duo's best-known era began.

Then came the big run: Hollywood (2008), with "Cada día" and "Yo te extrañaré"; Gente Común, Sueños Extraordinarios (2009), number one on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart; and the 2010 night at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico captured on the live album En concierto "Creeré." That year they shared the stage with Ricardo Montaner and Milly Quezada at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. In 2011 came Viaje a las Estrellas, with "Tu amor no es de este mundo" and "Creeré," and their first Latin Grammy nomination.

Then came Lo Que el Viento Me Enseñó (2012), with "Demente," Irreversible (2014), and Momentos en el Tiempo (2018), on their own label, Fe y Obra Music. They have three Latin Grammy nominations for Best Christian Album in Spanish (2011, 2012, and 2015) and three Arpa Award nominations in 2023 for "Te Entrego a Mi Corazón": Track of the Year, Best Album or Track by a Group or Duo, and Producer of the Year.

In February 2023 they closed their live era with "Trayectoria & Despedida" at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico: a farewell to the stage as a duo, not to music. They have kept recording since: "Aquí Estoy" with Isabelle Valdez, "Dios Ha Sido Fiel" with Brayan Booz, the EP En Honor a Mamá Vol. 1, and "Quiero Agradecerte" (2026). Their YouTube channel has over 770,000 subscribers and on Spotify they hover around three million monthly listeners. Songs of faith, love, and family without a sermon: for the day when everything is going well and for the one when you can't see a way out. Which of their songs has been with you?
