Montreal.

Montreal is a band of five siblings —Juan, Seba, Ana, Checho, and Laly— born in Buenos Aires and raised in a pastors' home where music was part of everyday life. That's where they inherited the craft and a simple conviction: faith is meant to be sung, and it's sung best as a family.

The group started in 2013 and released their first album, "Viene del Cielo," in 2015, with eleven unreleased songs. That record put them on the map of Spanish-language Christian youth music and earned them an Arpa Award nomination for Best Pop / Fusion Album.

"Más Color" (2016) confirmed their formula: Latin pop, careful vocal harmonies, and a joy that doesn't hide. From it came "No te rindas" and "Tan profundo," two of their most-listened-to songs, plus collaborations with Marcos Witt and Steven Richards.

Then came a four-year pause in which the siblings lived in different cities across the United States. They returned together in 2022 with "Volver," a single about forgiveness and reconciliation that in 2023 won the Arpa Award for Pop / Fusion Album or Track. Today they live in Florida and keep recording for the CanZion label.

Their music doesn't try to be complicated: songs of faith with choruses a whole church can sing, and a message that promises neither success nor comfort, but a hope that doesn't depend on circumstances. For a generation that grew up between two languages and two cultures, that luminous pop is a way of saying that faith can be enjoyed too.
