Biography.

Los Herederos make regional Mexican music with the Bible open: tuba, accordion, snare drum, and guitars in service of the coritos the Hispanic church has sung for decades. Everything they record is released on Natura Records, the label and studio where they built their catalog.

The group kicked off with the album "2017" and built on it with "Sembrando la Tradición" (2018) and "Todo Lo Que Soy" (2020). Then came "Haz de Mí" (2021) and "Puras Que Dan Gozo" (2021), the album that put them on the nominee lists and that had a sequel in the EP "Puras Que Dan Gozo, Vol. 2" (2023). In between, "Mi Música, Mi Tierra" (2022) staked out their territory: songs of faith with a rancho flavor, without sounding like a show.

What they do is best understood live, and they've recorded it: "En Vivo Desde Chihuahua" (2019) and "En Vivo Desde Rancho Largo" (2020), plus the "Miércoles de Ensayo" series (Vol. 1 and 2 in 2025, Vol. 3 in 2026), where they let loose foot-stomping medleys, cumbias, and classics like "El Patito Juan," "Trombonazo Coritos," or "Una Llaga Podrida" without losing the message.

Their name also shows up on the awards lists. In 2022 the Arpa Awards nominated them for "Puras Que Dan Gozo" in regional or tropical music and in live album or track; in 2024 they repeated in regional with "Caídas." That same year, the AMCL Awards put them on the shortlists for regional album ("Puras Que Dan Gozo" and "Haz de Mí") and for duo or group ("Todo Lo Que Soy"). They didn't win those nights, and they kept recording at the same pace: in recent years they've released singles almost every month.

Along the way they shared the microphone with Grupo Respaldo, Nacho Galindo, Verónica Leal, Jona Regal, Elmer Cruz, and Los Tres De La Palma. Their repertoire revolves around testimony, gratitude, and church worship, with lyrics a young person can sing in the truck or at rehearsal without changing the tone. If you've sung along to "Eres Polvo y Nada Más" at a vigil, you already know why they're heard where they're heard: which of their coritos hits closest to home?
