La Reforma.

La Reforma sounds like an entire country. Born in Bogotá, the band's sound crosses Colombian folk — cumbia, champeta, Pacific gaitas, Caribbean drums — with the pulse of Latin urban. Christian Lacouture is on vocals, Sergio Lacouture on production and guitar, and Jonathan Lacouture on drums.

They debuted in 2014 with a self-titled album and haven't stopped since: Gózate la Vida (2016), La Resistencia (2020), and Que La Música No Pare (2024), the album that marked their biggest leap. Along the way came songs now sung in churches and on the street, like "Alabao," "Ponte Happy," and "Así Peleo Mis Batallas."

The band sees itself as a laboratory of folk, Latin rhythms, and organic blends, and it understands the song as a tool for sharing the message of Jesus. Christian, the lead vocalist, also pastors young people in Bogotá: faith isn't the wrapper around the project — it is the project.

At the Arpa Awards, the academy of Spanish-language Christian music, they were nominated in 2023 for "La Cumbia del Pueblo" and in 2024 won Best Regional or Tropical Music Album with Que La Música No Pare; in that same edition they competed in the Music Video category with "Así Peleo Mis Batallas."

In 2026 they keep releasing music: the live album De La Calle Pa' La Calle and the singles "Gospel Cumbia," "Aguacero de Vida," and "Dale Mi Sele." Their music speaks of the neighborhood, of family, and of the battles of ordinary people, with a hope that doesn't depend on applause or success.
