"La Voz De Mi Padre" live from Saltillo
The "Reyes y Sacerdotes" conference hosted the live recording from Cristo Vive in Saltillo, according to Ericson Alexander Molano's channel.
Ericson Alexander Molano's channel has "La Voz De Mi Padre" live from Cristo Vive, Saltillo, during the "Reyes y Sacerdotes" conference (video). The title raises the question many of us avoid: what voice calls you by name?
Christian music releases no longer depend on a stage or a CD. A short video, recorded at a conference, reaches the same audience as any other song in your feed.
Youth conferences have become a showcase for Spanish worship. Saltillo thus enters the conversation, with a song that points to something deeper than a congregation singing.
«The name that matters is not earned: it is received.»
A voice that reaches you before your achievements
Think about how you introduce yourself. Name, age, major, followers. At 20, identity is built from what others see: how many likes, how many stories viewed, how many photos no one commented on. It's exhausting, and it's a trap. If your worth depends on a metric, any day that metric drops and everything drops with it.
There is a text that says something else: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine" (Isaiah 43:1, ESV). Notice the order. First He calls you, then He holds you. There is no previous audition or résumé to pass. The name that matters is not earned: it is received.
That doesn't eliminate effort or good work. It changes the starting point. You work from a received identity, not to build one through struggle. The difference shows when you fail and when you treat someone who can give you nothing.
The applause that fades
Scripture describes something you see on your phone every day: we compare, we show off, and we seek recognition. Jesus said the shepherd "calls his own sheep by name" (John 10:3, ESV). That voice doesn't shout to the stands; it calls each one individually.
The algorithm works the opposite way. It measures you, classifies you, and gives you back more of what you already saw. It doesn't call you: it labels you. Spending hours there leaves a strange tiredness, like having talked a lot without saying anything.
Belonging by grace changes the equation. You are not a child because of a streak of good deeds, or your best photo, or the month when everything went well. Christ pays what you cannot pay and the Father receives you. That gift is not shown off: it is thanked for.
What voices will you hear this week
Do a concrete exercise. Choose one hour, turn off notifications, and play a song like this, or a Bible passage, with your phone face down. Ten minutes with no one scoring you.
Then ask yourself how many decisions these days were born from wanting approval. Without punishing yourself. The gospel won't give you a new name when you improve; it tells you that you are already His, and from there you live differently.
What voice are you going to let call you this week? Tell me.
