Génesis Campos posted the dates for the "Viene algo grande" tour on her YouTube channel and closed with a question: "¿En qué ciudad nos vemos?" The first announced stop is Manta, Ecuador, on October 17.

The announcement does not list venues, prices or points of sale. There are dates, yes, but the logistics are still open. If someone is already offering you tickets, wait until she or her team confirms the official channels.

The dates that have already been announced

Denver has two nights in a row; the rest of the stops, one each. Ecuador and Peru each appear with two cities, so there are options for those who live nearby.

«Worship doesn't depend on success, but on the sovereign God who gathers his people.»

  • October 17: Manta, Ecuador
  • October 18: Guayaquil, Ecuador
  • November 7: Guatemala (city not yet announced)
  • November 21: Argentina (city not yet announced)
  • November 27: Huacho, Peru
  • November 28: Lima, Peru
  • December 5 and 6: Denver, United States
  • December 12: Louisiana, United States (city not yet announced)

Three of those lines name the country or the state, not the city: Guatemala, Argentina and Louisiana. It could be the capital or it could be another location, but until the team publishes it, it's best not to assume or buy flights on that basis. If you live in one of those places, save the date and wait for the details.

What still needs to be confirmed

Venues, prices, the sale date and the cities for those three stops are still missing. It also remains to be seen whether more locations will be added: the question was left open in the comments, but so far no additional date has been announced.

The announcement came from her YouTube channel, so that's the place to check back. And if someone shows up selling tickets before she does, don't hand over your money yet. Write the date on your phone calendar and set an alarm.

Worship doesn't depend on the billboard

A night of worship with other believers can leave a mark on anyone. It can also turn into debt if you buy a ticket, transportation and lodging without planning. Before you book, calculate the total cost of the trip, save for weeks and travel with your church's youth group.

I'm glad a tour like this stirs up anticipation. What worries me, on the other hand, is that the excitement makes us overspend or pay less attention to the person next to us in the pew.

And if the tour doesn't come to your city, your local church is still gathering every week. "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them" (Matthew 18:20, ESV). The promise doesn't depend on the crowd size or the billboard.

Write in the comments which city you're waiting for her in and share this info with your church's youth leader, so no one buys from resellers or travels without a plan. And if you have to wait for another date, don't stop gathering: worship doesn't depend on success, but on the sovereign God who gathers his people.
